I started taking pictures when I was a teenager but
only took it on as a serious hobby in the mid 1990's.
I used to work in colour only, lab processed with no facilities at home. I gained my LRPS by going to college for two years (evening classes) where I was introduced to the wonders of B&W. This was followed by setting up my own darkroom for B&W and was one of the founder members of EMMG. Photography lost its appeal a few years back and I dismantled my darkroom and stepped back for a while. With the improvements in technology I started scanning my negatives and slides; now I own a DSLR and have started working in colour as well as B&W The last picture taken was some dark blue nettle flowers poking through the white flowers on a hedgerow. |
